Science in a Van

Today we were lucky enough to have Emily and Alan from Science in a Van come to our school and show us some really cool science experiments. Here are 2 of them the ball experiment and the Speed of sound experiment (it was really loud). We also got to learn all about bubbles this afternoon. They taught us about Mixtures and how some mixtures separate and some react. Can you do some science experiments at home and see if you can find out any mixtures that react or separate? Remember its probably a good idea to do some of them outside just incase it gets messy, or smelly (like the vinegar). Or you could make your own bubble mixture, all you need is dishwashing liquid and water!

Assembly

Here is the video of our performance at assembly on Friday. I was so proud of each and every one of you. You all knew all your lines and performed so well! Well Done Pirates!

Pain!

Well done Pain! The worthy recipient of our Mindful Award this week. Paid has been using Persistence to listen for the main sounds in words and write them down in order. You should be very proud Pain! :) 

Superhero Discovery

Today we did a superhero discovery. We used our past knowledge and created and innovated to create superhero masks, shields and logos! We had so much fun! Here are some photos of us doing our work! 

Sandpit

Check out the awesome sandcastles we made in the sandpit today. We were working with others to make the best sandcastle we could!
